OVERVIEW

This dynamic role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of ground handling activities during their shift to ensure safe, on-time, and efficient turnaround of flights.

Acting as the senior operational representative on duty, the role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, airline standards, and customer service expectations.

You will lead the operational team, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and provide real-time solutions to operational challenges, disruptions, and service recovery situations.

As the primary liaison between airport service providers and airport users, your mandate will be to ensure all passenger and aircraft handling activities comply with established safety and security standards, whilst also providing insights and recommendations for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of ground handling activities during shifts.

• Ensure safe, on-time, and efficient turnaround of flights.

• Act as the senior operational representative on duty, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and airline standards.

• Lead the operational team and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

• Provide real-time solutions to operational challenges and disruptions.

• Ensure compliance with established safety and security standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree qualified with at least 5 years of experience in Aviation Ground Operations.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of DCS, weight and balance, ramp handling, and dangerous goods regulations.

• Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and ground operations best practices.

• Professional certification in Aviation, Airport Operations, or Management (IATA, ICAO, or ACI) is preferred.
